Spotlight: Sustainable Suppliers

This follows a report released by EY in November 2024, which found that 81 per cent of Irish businesses had increased their focus on sustainability over the past year in response to market and stakeholder concerns.
Within the trade, there are several ways to make kitchen installations more sustainable—using natural or recyclable materials, opting for low-VOC paints, and prioritising energy-efficient appliances. However, in a climate where consumers are increasingly alert to greenwashing, we explore what the industry is doing to stay ahead when it comes to sustainability.
