Titanic Belfast - 30th November 2018
The sixth Ireland’s Kitchen Trade Awards evening sponsored by Cosentino took place on Friday 30th November 2018 at a black tie event in Titanic Belfast. The evening celebrated the fantastic talent we have on the island of Ireland and awarded those at the top of their profession from kitchen designers, retailers to suppliers as well as recognising an individual who made an important impression on the industry in the lifetime achievement category.
Award Categories & 2018-19 Winners
01.
Contemporary Design Project up to £25/€30K
This award will honour a kitchen designer that works within an Irish kitchen studio, who has created a contemporary/modern kitchen design in the past two years that meets with the client’s wish-list and comes in under a budget of £25/€30K including appliances.
02.
Contemporary Design Project over £25/€30K
This award will honour a kitchen designer that works within an Irish kitchen studio, who has created a contemporary/modern kitchen design in the past two years that exceeds a £25/€30K budget including appliances.
03.
Classic Design Project up to £25/€30K
This award will honour a kitchen designer that works within an Irish kitchen studio, who has created a classic/traditional kitchen design in the past two years that meets with the client’s wish-list and comes in under a budget of £25/€30K including appliances.
04.
Classic Design Project over £25/€30K
This award will honour a kitchen designer that works within an Irish kitchen studio, who has created a classic/traditional kitchen design in the past two years that exceeds a £25/€30K budget including appliances.
05.
Top Retailer of the Year
This award will be presented to the business that demonstrates their ability as the top performing kitchen retailer in Ireland. The business will have a proven track record of commercial and financial success, a vision and drive to improve their business into the future and a complete knowledge and deliverance of excellent customer service.
06.
Retail Showroom of the Year
This award will be presented to the Irish kitchen retailer who has created an outstanding setting to showcase kitchens and appliances. Their showroom will be interesting, well laid out and captivating to visitors as well as being inspirational to other kitchen retailers. The showroom will be manned by knowledgeable staff able to answer any questions posed, and demonstrate products or appliances.

Supplier of the Year
This award will recognise the Irish supplier who excels in providing kitchen manufacturers and retailers with quality products and services. The winner will have an excellent knowledge of what products/services the Irish kitchen market needs in order to progress and will be skilled at sourcing new products as well as being accomplished at managing supply and demand.
08.
Lifetime Achievement Award
This award will be presented to an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to the Irish kitchen industry. They will have made a positive change to the kitchen market in Ireland through their vision and determination and are a role model for others to follow.
