Franke acquires leading Nordic kitchen hoods supplier

The acquisition of Røros Metall AS, will strengthen the Franke Group’s position in kitchen hoods
Swiss kitchen appliances group, Franke, has acquired 100 per cent of shares in Røros Metall, a premium Norwegian manufacturer of RørosHetta kitchen hoods and ventilation systems
Founded in 1946, Røros Metall has collaborated with Faber, Franke’s leading brand in kitchen ventilation for more than 20 years. In 2024, Røros Metall also became the official distributor for Franke sinks and taps in Norway.
As part of the acquisition, Røros Metall brand will become part of the Franke Home Solutions division with owner and CEO, Håvard Augensen, stepping into a new role as head of Franke's operations in the Nordic region. His focus will be on reinforcing expertise in the central ventilation sector and expanding Franke’s regional and European presence. He succeeds Christoph Stuebi, who will lead the integration of Røros Metall, ensuring a smooth transition.
Corrado Mura, President/CEO of Franke Home Solutions says the acquisition represents a great opportunity for Franke to expand its global presence.
