Smeg unveils Galileo collection at Eurocucina 2022

The new range of ovens utilise multicooking technology to combine traditional, steam, and microwave functions

Smeg launched the latest products joining the brand’s collection between now and early 2023 at Eurocucina, which took place in Milan in July.

Seamlessly blending technology and design, the Galileo collection focuses on built-in domestic appliances with innovation and sustainability at the forefront.

The collection’s flagship model, the Omnichef, combines all three functions to cut cooking time by up to 70 per cent.

Among the new cooking appliances, Smeg also presented its new Area induction hob with a shining surface in ceramic glass, available in a black or silver version. Without pre-set cooking areas, users are able to freely move their pots and pans around the 90cm hob for convenience and cooking control.

Furthermore, Smeg showcased a range of other products to include, new 60 cm wine coolers, dishwashers which sterilise 99.9 per cent of dishware, and updated colourways for established ranges.
