The fifth Ireland’s Kitchen Trade Awards evening sponsored by Dekton XGloss by Cosentino took place on Friday 25th November at a black tie event in Titanic Belfast and it was a huge success for all involved.
Lots of well known names from the kitchen industry traveled from all over Ireland and the UK to attend the glamourous event, which marked the end of our awards process from entries through to final judging.
We were overwhelmed once again by the sheer amount of entries we received from the very beginning of the process, along with the calibre of entries that has left us delighted with the support that the awards has received. We could not have pulled off such a fantastic night without the time and effort of everyone who took part, and all the different elements from beginning to end truly came together perfectly. Our host, Claire McCollom played a huge part in having the night go off without a hitch.
Our judges had the most difficult task of selecting finalists and the winners amongst all of the amazing entries, and they completed the job with integrity and enthusiasm. So we would like to say a big thank you to: Des Ewing, Des Ewing Architects; Suzanne Garuda, Sundara Design; Neil Mathews, Neil Mathews Architects; Robert Gibson, Grant Thornton NI and Thomas Hunter McGowen, Intertrade Ireland.
The awards this year were sponsored by Dexton XGloss by Cosentino, so a big thank you to them, and also to the sponsors of each individual award. They include Caple, Siemens, Silestone by Cosentino, DeDietrich, Sensa, Porcellana. Thanks also to Nordmende who sponsored the fantastic casino; Bodel Distributors, who sponsored the drinks reception and to all the companies that donated all of our fabulous ballot prizes and helped us raise £1,865 for local breast cancer charity, Pretty ‘n’ Pink.
The reaction on the night from winners, nominees and guests was fantastic to hear and a thoroughly well enjoyed night was had all round.
Our aim with these awards is to celebrate the kitchen industry in Ireland and to encourage familiar faces and newcomers to stay passionate about the development of the industry and growth of the new and exciting design and manufacturing innovations. The IKT Awards are providing a platform for excellence and optimism for the future of kitchen design and manufacturing innovations. IKT Awards are providing a platform for excellence and optimism for the future of kitchen design in Ireland. The also offer an evening to catch up with familiar faces and meet new talent that has emerged.
Our final congratulations go out to the winners, whose hard work meant they took home one of our covetable trophies to proudly display in their showrooms.
