Success all Round at IKT Awards

Well-known names from the kitchen industry travelled from all over Ireland to attend the night of glamour that marked the end of the awards season from entries through to final judging. For the third year running we were overwhelmed by the response we received from the very beginning of the process. From the amount of entries and their calibre, we have been delighted by the support that the awards have received, which is a testament to the acumen that is attached to winning an IKT Award. We could not have pulled off such a fantastic night without the time and effort of everyone who took part. Our judges had the most difficult task of selecting the finalists and the winners, and completed the job with integrity and enthusiasm. So a big thank-you to Denise O’Connor, Architect, Interior Designer and MD Optimise Design, David Caulfield, Sales and Marketing Director, BA Components, Craig Rothwell, MD, 20-20 Fusion, Frank Shortt, Area Sales Manager for Ireland, 20-20 Fusion, Padraic Little, Executive, Grant Thornton UK and Margaret Cunningham, Client Manager Construction, Invest NI.

The awards were sponsered by Silestone by Cosentino and General Manager of Cosentino Ireland Mark Burke said, ‘We had a very enjoyable evening. It is great to see that the awards are continuing to go from strength to strength.’

A big thank-you also has to be given to our sponsors of each of the individual awards of the night. They include Topform, Siemens, Eco by Cosentino, BA Components, Häfele, Miele and Flanagan Fittings. Thanks also has to go to NordMende who sponsored our fantastic casino and the companies that donated our outstanding raffle prizes.
All the different elements from beginning to end have came together perfectly, and as such the night went off without a hitch. The reaction on the night from winners, nominees and guests was fantastic to hear and a thoroughly well enjoyed night was had all round. Our aim with these awards is to celebrate the kitchen industry in Ireland and to encourage familiar faces and new comers to stay passionate about the development of the industry and the growth of new and exciting design and manufacturing innovations. The IKT Awards are providing a platform for excellence and optimism for the future of kitchen design in Ireland. The roaring success of the awards night and the reaction of those involved certainly provides a positive outlook for the coming year. It was also an excellent opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and meet the new talent that has emerged this year.

Our final congratulations is to the winners whose hard work meant they took home one of our coveted trophies.
